Our Equity Sales build up new relationships and maintain existing ones. Due to the in depth understanding on all stocks that we cover an equity sales is able to spot the opportunities in the market and to pitch those with investors. As equity sales you are the main point of contact to the investors. During the 3-6 months of your internship at Kempen you are a full member of the Securities Sales team whereby you get to experience the young, dynamic and interactive culture of Kempen Securities.
An internship is a great way to get to know Kempen as a merchant bank, our employees and of course Securities in particular. Is the dealing room the place where you belong? Then the internship securities equity sales is perfect for you! During 3-6 months you’re actively part of the team - You will work closely with the sales, trading and research teams to gather information on the stocks Kempen covers and on our clients to provide the best service to our institutional investors. You’ll help the team to enhance its commercial results, help with sourcing new clients, organize/set-up calls, roadshows and seminars and many other exciting things!

We, on the other hand, are dreaming of a mergers, acquisitions and securities trading intern who can bring that little bit extra to the table, especially when it comes to ambition, problem-solving skills, and above-average study results. We’re not too concerned if you don’t already have a lot of experience under your belt, because your drive to learn and get the most out of yourself will more than compensate this. You also have:
- Have a PhD, a Master degree, or are in the finishing stages of a Master degree (scientific);
- Have affinity with financial markets and the Life Sciences sector;
- Are analytically strong, for example shown by excellent grades;
- Have a pro-active mindset with good communication and entrepreneurial skills;
- Fluent in English (Dutch is not a requirement);
- You are fulltime available for 3 months.
